The Southside Loungeis hosting films by Shibby Pictures - a production company of 23-year old filmmaker Jak Kerley. Jak Kerley's filmmaking style is rooted in the DIY punk community. Based on elements such as naturalism and realism, Kerley seeks to tell stories that people can relate to. Stories that point out the little problems in life, and lets the viewer know they're not alone. He travels the world screening music videos and short films in various kinds of spaces.
